Excel Spring & Stamping provides precision four-slide stampings to customers across North America, manufacturing tight tolerance components for a wide variety of applications. This brush holder project exemplifies that capability – composed of .025″ thick ¼ Hard C260 Brass; the brush holder featured close dimensions of .940″ – .960″ in length, and was formed to tolerances of ±.0015″.

After initial fabrication on our Nilson S2F four-slide machine, parts were then deburred using vibratory finishing. Finally, part chemistry and hardness are verified through testing in accordance with the ASTM B36 specification for brass standards. Statistical Process Control (SPC) sheets outlining our rigorous quality control methods were also included in shipment to the customer.

We have produced over 2,000,000 of these parts to date for our customer in Reynosa, Mexico. Due to the conveniently small size and relatively lightweight nature of many products we manufacture, FOB location is typically not a factor in our cost competitiveness.

At Excel Spring & Stamping, we take quality seriously. We operate an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility and maintain a comprehensive quality management system. For more information about this project or our four-slide stamping capabilities, please contact us directly.
